If I blog again this week, somebody should just yell at me really furiously, because I have an exam tomorrow, project deadline Friday and then essay hand-in day Monday!
I miss living at home and having your parents push you to work, I'm such a procrastinator, I can't focus on anything for more than 10 minutes!

Favourite scents!

Ola! Today I thought I'd share a few of my favourite products that smell (to me) heavenly, I tried to be quite varied so there's a bit of everything.. well not really but still.
I'm absolutely loving citrus-y scents at the mo, anything orange or fresh and light is just so appealing!

First off, is my favourite perfume (which actually isn't citrus smelling at all) Lancome Midnight Rose. I got this for my 20th birthday from my boyfriend, because I begged him for it ;) It came in a set with 3 juicy tubes and a 3 mini mascaras (If I remember correct they were three different hypnose ones). I don't wear it very often, mainly because I forget, but it does smell delicious! Its quite fruity at first and then calms down to reveal hints of vanilla.

Second is the Bliss blood orange and white pepper body butter. I got my sample in my harrods glossybox and I'm so glad I did! It's amazing, the smell is just heavenly... I want to bathe in it and have a bottle under my nose to smell at all times! a bit over the top perhaps? Well I'm nearly all out of mine now and need to cut it open to get the last bits out, but I fully intend on buying the full size because it's also quite a nice body butter too funnily enough! ;)

Next up is a lush massage bar, this one is called Each Peach and even though it's been rubbed away has a pretty little flower design on it usually, a bit odd because it's full of fruit oils and butters, not flowers. Anyway, the smell! Another citrus smell, this one is very light and lemony and actually reminds me of sherbet slighty because its so sweet smelling!

And the final favourite smell is a Lancome Juicy Tube, I got this one again in my harrods glossybox (It was a good box!). It smells of toffee, real creamy toffee, delicious. I don't usually wear anything on my lips unless they're dry and I need a balm, but I've found myself putting this on just so I can smell the toffee, is that weird?!

A hairy miracle

TRESemme Split Remedy Sealing Serum - £5.50

So, here's the truth, I don't get my hair cut very often, mainly because I'm so indecisive about it's style... Do I want a fringe again? Do I want layers? Long or short this time?! ah! 

Anyway, my next hair cut is going to be in three weeks now & my hair has been looking so sad lately with split ends all over the place that I was on the lookout for something to cheer up my locks a little.

Of course, as I was on this mission Tresemme realeased their split remedy range and I thought "Why the hell not?" and bought this serum to try straight away.

Oh boy am I glad I did, it's amazing! I've been using it for around a week now, but I noticed results after the first few uses on both wet and dry hair, I wish I had a before and after picture to show you, but I didn't really have much faith to be honest :( My split ends have drastically been reduced, It's like my ends have been glued back together or something and the larger ones have shrunk to be teeny blips on the ends of my hair!

I wanted to share this with you all because I really recommend this product to anyone on a budget who has split ends or wants to prolong the life of their hair cut by looking after their bedraggled and unhappy ends :) It's an absolute bargain in my opinion!

Once I've had my hair cut I think I'll use this at least once a week to keep the ends nice and smooth and split end free for as long as possible before the next chop!

Hideaway in the forest

At this very moment, nothing seems any better to me than drinking a very creamy hot chocolate and being in those places. They look magical and so peaceful. If anything I could just do with the escape for an hour or two, with nothing on my mind to worry over, now that sounds lush.

Hug-A-Panda

I spend most of my days wishing I could hug a panda before I die, of course there is that little thing about them being bears and all, but that's just nit-picking really.

They're just so squishy and adorable! I imagine the Lady panda's are like sassy grandma's and the male's are a little gangsta' ... I don't know okay, It's late.

I was a little disappointed when the panda's at Edinburgh zoo didn't get busy, I'd of loved some chubby lil' baba panda bears to coo over.

Clearly I need to work in a zoo or get a job where I'm paid to cuddle an animal all day long.. 

Hello m'dears!

I've been MIA for a few days now! (well 4, so not that many) What have I been doing you ask?? Well, we've watched nearly all of the walking dead (only 3 episodes left!) & I have been feeling a little miserable and sorry for myself with a full blown cold! Not the best when I have SO much work to do, it's left me feeling very uninspired and drained, I guess that's because I haven't been ill in the longest time, so it's seemed to knock me back a little. :(
Also on my last post about those pesky jeans that you all cried out at me to buy, well I DID! hooray! they should be here by Monday and maybe I'll get to do a little outfit post with them, if I find the time that is (and if they fit of course) all of these ifs and buts, bah. I cannot wait for the 30th of this month when my course is finished! I have so many jewellery designs scribbled in my notebook that need to be made! :)

Temptation

I was innocently browsing asos earlier, because hey why not, when I check in on my saved items and discovered the minty jeans I've been lusting over are back in stock in my size!
Dilemma! Do I purchase? They're £8 cheaper than my usual favourite brand so that's a plus. But I have no idea if they'll fit me right or even suit me as I've never bought asos jeans before...
The temptation is overwhelming, especially now because of that little low in stock icon hovering over the image, the bugger.

There's also a worry that I might checkout with a bag in tow too... you know, because I'm like that. & I swear I REALLY do honestly need a new bag! I use my current one for everything and it looks so worn, bless it's little heart. I'm not sure If I want to be a bargain hunter and buy the floral one or be naughty and purchase the striped which is double the price (and obviously my favourite, oh the irony)

Wonderful Weekend! An Etsy Easter

Hello my lovely readers! Sorry for the silence for the past 3 days (so not that long really) I've been a busy bee packing, travelling and suffering from a miserable cold that has turned my nose into a tap! (tmi?)
I also got my macbook pro yesterday, it's just a tad dreamy if I do say so myself ;) Still getting to grips with it as I've never owned a mac before. If anyone has any tips or great programmes I could use, please let me know as it's a little bare right now!

I've been feeling sorry for myself all today, with a very sore nose and throat, so have compiled a little Easter-Etsy treat list (also known as thing's that would make me a very happy bunny.. get it?) because I love a little bit o' handmade!

This lovely polka dot dress seems perfect for spring don't you think? I love the big red/coral dots, they remind me of a carnival almost!

I'm really attracted to quirky jewellery, and this piece is no exception! It looks even better on the model too, so unique.

& finally this gorgeous handmade leather bag is that perfect shade of minty green, and the perfect size to carry just the essentials, I hate carrying around a heavy bag more than anything!

Mini Cards!

My moo mini cards came the other week, and I am so pleased with them! they're so adorable, I want to keep them all for myself!

I designed sixteen in total, so this is only a small preview :) 2 of the designs are coupon cards, I'm going to make them into scratch cards to pop in with my orders as a surprise! 

Another thing I really loved about receiving them is the box they come in, it's high quality cardboard that fits them real snug and I love the pop of orange too.

Instagram Wednesday

So I heard that androids can now join the instagram bandwagon, yay! My username is FragmentedSplendour if your looking for someone to follow! It's rather addicting, I don't take that many pictures, but I love peeping into other people's life, it's fun! :)

Also, can you believe it, I packed summer clothes for this trip home and it's meant to snow today! Snow! I'm one of those people that hates being cold, so I'm a tad annoyed with myself for not packing even one long sleeved tee or my boots! Brrrrrr...

A If-I-Had-All-The-Money-In-The-World Wishlist.

So slight exaggeration, because if I had all the money in the world, I'd be queen of the world obviously.. & I'd open animal sanctuaries everywhere, and people would serve me and the animals... So this wishlist is an if I wasn't so poor kind of wishlist, and more open to wearing floaty dresses too.

1. Topshop Dip hem blossom dress - Is this not the most gorgeous thing you've ever seen?? I gasped at the sight of it (almost)

2. Haircare - Morracanoil & Elasticizer - Summer means I should take care of my lock more, and these two seem perfect, if a little pricey.

3. ASOS Nude slouchy tee - I'm a fan of the casual, and of the pretty too, plus I need more light colours im my heavily blue wardrobe!

4. Zara ombre shirt - I don't own a single thing from zara, but maybe I should...

5. Nails - Essie & Topshop - Pastels mmm!! 

6. ASOS 'Flossy' Sandals - Probably going to buy these, because they're lovely, I love the blue stripe! :)

A Guest Post - Photoshop tips!

Oh, hi! Just stopping by on this fiiine Saturday night... now actually Sunday, to say that on Thursday (boy I'm behind) I did a little guest post over at My Billie! It was a little tips 'n' tricks post around photoshop, because I'm a photoshop nerd (and proud!). Granted my images wont look the best on everyone's screens, which is my top annoyance, when I look at my blog on my boyfriends' laptop, all the colours just look so wrong to me, it's a pet peeve! & I know come next weekend, I'll be looking at my blog through the eyes of my mac and everything will need to be corrected to save my sanity! *le sigh* Anyway!
