The thought of snow and pretty lights on trees

I want to watch Harry Potter and cuddle cats. I can do neither of those things because I don't have any Harry Dvd's (I've been waiting since the very first film came out when I was 10 years old ... maybe 11 until now with them all out to get them in a beautiful special box set! I'd like to think that's dedication, thank you!) and I don't have any cats to hand to give cuddles, my 2 kitties went on a stressful 3 hour drive to Cambridgeshire yesterday with my mother because that's their new home! 3 hours away! what's that about??

So to make myself better, I'm going to spam you (what?!) with Harry Potter images... and then maybe Cats tomorrow ;)

Happy thanksgiving to anyone who celebrates it! Hope you have a turkeylicious day ;)

I, on the other hand, have spent today trying my hand at giant multi coloured paper pom pom making .. though I changed my mind halfway and sort of made it more of half a pom pom and more of a flower, but hey. I apologise for the bad lighting, its only half past 4 but already almost pitch black outside, so I've had to turn on all my lights in my room (I also apologise for the bed and table images... along with the strange curtains halls have... I have literally nowhere to take any good photo's, the carpets are blue for crying out loud).

Why on earth are you making giant pom pom/flowers things, Annabel? I hear you ask. For my current project I answer. It's quite simple, I'm going to make a whole bunch of the little (cough massive) buggers and hang them in my studio space and cover my wall with them so everyone will go "ahhhh".What. A. Plan.

Today I made a few simple bracelets because I got a few crafty bits in the post (I love getting post!)

I used a magnetic clasp for one of them and it just attracted everything on my table, it was insane. I found it handy at keeping all my bracelets together though, because they all joined together on my wrist. However, it was not the best look, maybe magnetic clasps though they make bracelets easier to put on, are not the best idea. (tut)

Life lately

Life lately makes me want to curl into a ball and sleep 24/7, or possibly just cover my face like shown (uhm okay). Though I am enjoying wearing my cat dress today an awful lot, I want to prance around in it and show everyone.
Is there such an illness as being tired all the time? maybe I should google that because I just yawned again and I pinkie promise I've had enough sleep.

(My hair isn't two different colours, its just the light, though wouldn't that be pretty cool)

My PJ's and of course a sketchbook ~~full~~ of work and brilliant ideas.

I apologise for my iPhone photos and sometimes ordinary camera ones, Santa has never brought me a fancy pants SLR that is apparently needed to take any and all good pictures (curse him).

A peek into a print making studio

Today I thought I'd show some pictures I took last week of the Print studio at my uni, it's pretty damn impressive if I do say so myself!
The images are of the main presses, though there are a few more including a diddy letterpress and another smaller mono printing type press.
In the room next to this is the screen printing studio, which isn't quite as pretty so I didn't take pictures, but you get the gist, lots of printing!
